In Art Workshop for kids, teacher works in mixed media painting techniques, using textures and different approaches. She inclined to a decorative art approach which requires a bright color palette, temperamental strokes, and dimensionally textured surfaces.
An academic approach in teaching graphics, painting, composition, and decorative-stylistic skills will give children an understanding of the basics necessary for making art pieces. Children will learn how to work with pencil, watercolor, gouache, acrylic and oil paints, pastel, and mixed media techniques.
During each lesson, children will be shown examples of works by various famous artists and will receive an introduction to the history of arts. Teacher’s main goal is to unlock the creativity in each student. By using an individual approach, she gives children an opportunity to blossom in the area they really like and have the most talents.
